The Lost Hero of Science
Alexander Von Humboldt
I have just read a book about this genius and wanted to share his
existence with you all. It is quite disconcerting to think his name is
not more imprinted in our minds, given the fundamental input he has had
in
today's understanding of nature. More things are named
after him (e.g. glaciers, penguins, currents) than anyone else.
