Joining Rotaract
I first got exposed to Rotaract in July 2020 over a lunch meeting with my mother's work colleague. I was with my friend, my cousin and two other invitees. The lady took us through the Rotaract concept of voluntarism, youth leadership, fellowship and community service. All these resonated with my personal interests and ready, set, go! I became a Rotaractor.Experience
Rotaract has been such an amazing experience. It has helped me make new friends, engage in the community and develop my leadership skills through these activities i've been part of;- Making donations
- Cleaning the environment and tree planting
- Community Health Screening
- Fellowship sessions
About Rotaract Club of Gaborone
Rotaract Gaborone was chartered in October 2020. It has a growing membership of 19, comprised mostly of university students and is engaged in rural villages around Gaborone, Botswana.The club is currently open for new membership and if this excited the volunteer in you, contact them on instagram or tiktok to learn about their requirements.
