Traveling to new places can be an incredibly enriching experience, but we never seem to have enough time. Instead of rushing from one must-see destination to the next, we like to take the time to discover the magic.✨

We are Josh and Jennay, and we are Living Like Locals. Our journey is dedicated to exploring and immersing ourselves into new locations, to experience the authentic culture and lifestyle as true locals. Our focus will be connecting with people and places on a deeper level, with a dream of inspiring others as they do for us.

While taking our first trip together to Joshua Tree in California, we stumbled upon several hidden gems and local favorites. The lifestyle of the locals was so intriguing to us, and the conversations we had with people living in such a unique setting left us feeling inspired and wanting more. The hosts of our beautiful vacation rental, The Ox House, gave us a special view into the Joshua Tree lifestyle which sparked something within us. We hope to do the same for you!
