All about Man City

The best team in the land and all the world!

Eithad Stadium, home of Manchester City

Founded in 1880 as St. Mark’s, Manchester City Football Club is an English league side with a wealth of history and success. The first Manchester side to win a major trophy (the 1904 FA Cup, beating Bolton Wanderers), City’s men’s team have won a number of elite competitions over the decades, with recent years proving especially fruitful.

Standout successes include:

Manchester City Women’s Football Club was originally formed as Manchester City Ladies in 1988, and became officially affiliated with the men’s club in 2014. The women’s side has won 14 major honours in total, including one FA Women’s Super League in 2016. Recent European success has so far proved elusive for both City Women and Men, with the men hoping 22/23 may be the season when the Champions League finally arrives at the Etihad Stadium (home to City since 2003).
