MY POTTERY LOVESTORY <|3
A little over a year ago I started working with clay for the first time.
I got inspired by the lovely pattern of portuguese "azulejos" and
decided that my first project would be making tiles from scratch. After
the first taste I could not stop and kept working with clay manually and
in July I finally tried throwing something on the pottery wheel. Ever
since it's official: I am in love with pottery <|3
I find it very calming and soothing to give clay a new form, play with
textures and colors. The possibilities of creation seem endless and even
though the result is not always as planned I am surprised by the unique
beauty of each piece. I can recommend everyone to give it a try. Embrace
uncertainty, trust in the process and let your creativity flow!
While I know I have found a hobby for a lifetime I am starting to
think if it could become even more than that...
