Homesteading is an act of growing, producing, preserving and raising your own food and basic necessities. Homesteading can begin in your life at any age. Meaning, you can be born into a life of homesteading, or simply pick it up at any time in your life. You can homestead on a large acreage or in the center of a large city. I love homesteading because it gives me a lot of knowledge and experience. It allows me to create unique works of art through textiles, baking, cooking, livestock breeding and food preservation.
