Goliath bird eating tarantulas are one of the biggest tarantulas in the world, hence the name. They are native to South America. Their size range from 4.75in up to 11in. Their diet includes mice, frogs, lizards, and of course, birds that are smaller than they are. They are nocturnal creatures and have a vast lifespan ranging up to 15 years in human captivity. In the wild, females can live up to 20 years while males can live up to 6 years.
