As a wise woman once said: "Yoga is awesome." Yes, you are reading a feminist manifesto that tries to convince you of the power of a set of practices (and a style of living) that has been healing bodies and minds for thousands of years now. Some experts trace the origins of yoga 5000 years back in time, others say yoga is more likely 10.000 years old. This is not the space to argue on which of these estimations is closer to the "truth". For now, let us simply agree that the old age of yoga suffices to prove just how amazing the exercise really is. Now, if you're still not convinced, I challenge you to just give it a try.

To be honest, I don't think my words can do any justice to the pure awesomeness of yoga. I keep on rambling though, because you might be one of those souls in need of words, numbers or figures - hard proof - in order to be convinced of any form of "truth".
