I remember as soon as I learned to read, I fell in love with books. The
first book I read by myself was "The Giving Tree" by
Shel Silverstein. My first grad teacher gave that to me as a
happy reading gift.
I loved books even before I could read. But I had to beg my mom or
siblings to read to me because they were very busy. So, as soon as I
could read alone I drowned myself in children's books. My affection
towards this genre has not faded even a little bit in the span of years
but as I grew older I read teenage books, and later young adult books.
As I became more mature I find interest in classic books like
Tolstoy's books and
Dastayofski's too. But I love to read
every other genre, as much. Reading has been my best friend and hobby
ever since I was a little kid.
