I love going on holiday! Wether it's a winter or sunny holiday, I'm always up for a new adventure. Travel takes us out of our comfort zones and inspires us to see, taste and try new things. It constantly challenges us, not only to adapt to and explore new surroundings, but also to engage with different people, to embrace adventures as they come and to share new and meaningful experiences with friends and loved ones.
I think the exposure to new places and new people can be really reviving personally and also eye opening to see how other people live. To see how life functions, whether human or natural life, in other places is really humbling. It's easy to have your status quo at home, but as soon as you're in a new place - all bets are off. You can do anything, and are so willing to try new stuff to push your own boundaries purely because you're in a new place.
Traveling is a great way to boost your health, broaden your horizons,
and make memorable memories. It also helps you improve your
communication skills, broaden your horizons, learn new things about
other cultures, and forget about your daily troubles for a while.
Mental health experts say there's research to support the link
between travel and happiness. Some travelers may get a mood lift from
having new and diverse experiences. A 2020 study published in the
journal Nature found that people who see more changes in scenery
day-to-day tend to be happier.
