A Buffalo wing is an unbreaded chicken that is generally deep fried and then coated or dipped in a sauce consisting of vinegar-based cayenne pepper hot sauce and melted butter. This is a very popular part of American cuisine and traditionally served with celery, carrots and ranch. This wing concept came about in 1964 at the Anchor bar in Buffalo New York, which is the inspiration behind the name. Click here to learn more
