Hat Yai is a Portland, OR based restaurant that is owned by local restauranter Earl Nimsom. Named after the Southern Thai City of Hat Yai near the Malaysian border, Hat Yai was inspired by the streetside fried chicken vendors and small curry and roti shops in Southern Thailand. They prepare fresh roti made by hand every day. They also serve our favorite versions of other famous foods from Southern Thailand. They are a casual counter-service restaurant.
