BEE FRIENDLY

Save The Bees

Bees are known for their important role in pollinating flowers and producing honey. Bees are found on every continent except Antarctica, and there are over 20,000 known species of bees in the world. Bees are social insects that live in colonies, with a single queen bee who lays eggs and is responsible for reproduction, and many worker bees who perform different tasks such as foraging for food, cleaning the hive, and caring for the young bees. Bees communicate with each other using a complex system of dance and pheromones.

Bees

Bees are vital for the pollination of many plants, including many of the crops that we rely on for food. Without bees, our food supply would be severely impacted, and it's estimated that around one-third of the food we eat is pollinated by bees. In addition to their important role in pollination, bees are also known for producing honey, which is a sweet, sticky substance that is collected from the nectar of flowers. Honey is used as a natural sweetener and has been used for thousands of years for its medicinal properties.

Bees

Unfortunately, bee populations have been declining in recent years due to a combination of factors, including habitat loss, pesticide use, and climate change. It's important that we take steps to protect bees and their habitats to ensure that they continue to play their important role in our ecosystem.
