The chocolate Labrador is a purebred Labrador retriever with a distinctive, brown coat color. Chocolate labs grow up to 24.5 inches tall, weigh between 55 and 80 pounds, and have an average lifespan of 10 to 12 years. This breed is intelligent and picks up commands quickly. The chocolate dog makes an excellent family pet because it’s playful, gentle, and gets along well with young children. However, this dog needs a lot of exercise and sheds heavily, WOOF!
