"Say the sea. Say the sea. Say the sea. So that perhaps a drop of that magic may wander through time, and something might find it, and save it before it disappears forever. Say the sea. Because it's what we have left. Because faced by the sea, we without crosses, without magic, we must still have a weapon, something, so as not to die in silence, that's all."
The Black Sea is a marginal mediterranean sea of the
Atlantic Ocean lying between Europe and Asia, east of the Balkans, south
of the East European Plain, west of the Caucasus, and north of
Anatolia.
It is bounded by Bulgaria, Georgia, Romania, Russia, Turkey, and
Ukraine.๐๐ The Black Sea is supplied by major rivers, principally the
Danube, Dnieper, and Don. Consequently, while six countries have a
coastline on the sea, its drainage basin includes parts of 24 countries
in Europe.
The Black Sea ultimately drains into the Mediterranean Sea, via
the Turkish Straits and the Aegean Sea.
