The quote added at the start of the page is the perfect description of what it means to have a passion for travel. Lord of the Rings, an all-time classic, and my own personal favorite of all time wholly embodies the meaning of travel through its showcase of a thirst for adventure, the exploration of different cultures, and the best part of all, meeting new people (not to talk of the "saving the world" part).
According to wikipedia,
Travel is the movement of people between distant geographical locations. Travel can be done by foot, bicycle, automobile, train, boat, bus, airplane, ship or other means, with or without luggage, and can be one way or round trip. Travel can also include relatively short stays between successive movements, as in the case of tourism.
There are different types of travel, which makes it very thrilling, and although I was only interested in the 'adventure' part of it myself, I have also come to develop a passion for planning trips for adventure-seeking minds like mine, and making their dreams of a perfect journey come true. People could take trips for business, leisure, or both, and while some may want to visit mountaneous spots for adrenaline pumping activities like bungee-jumping, others prefer to take a long relaxing vacation by the seaside with loved ones, or their significant other....
