October 2020: Polish protests
I do not live in Poland but I have a lot of close family and friends there. I don't feel like my opinion matters as it doesn't involve me but the rest of the world should be aware what is going on in the one of the EU countries... Predominantly Catholic Poland already had one of Europe’s strictest abortion laws when, on 22 October, its constitutional tribunal ruled that terminations in instances of severe foetal anomalies, which accounted for all but about 30 of the 1,110 abortions performed legally in Poland last year, were “incompatible” with the constitution.
