Meditation is a practice in which an individual uses certain technique to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state. My favorite form; Unguided meditation allows me to choose my own pace and techniques, therefore I am my own teacher in this case. I enjoy unwinding at any time and anywhere, so one of my favorite ways to practice meditation throughout the day is to simply pause what I'm doing for one minute and take deep breaths. Two of the ways I accomplish this are to pay attention to my breathing no matter where I am or what I am doing or to find a peaceful space where I can be still and in the moment with my surroundings.
