Hiking in Korea

Top places to find peace in nature

Bukhansan National Park

As 70 % of Korea's terrain is mountainous, hiking is Korea's number one leisure activity. There are 21 national parks and much more provincial parks, threaded with tousands of trails. The highest peaks of the country are Halla-san (1.950m) an inactive volcano on Jeju Island, as well as Cheonwang-bong (1.915m) and Banya-bong (1.732m), both located in the Jirisan National Park.
