My Melody is a white rabbit mascot from the world of Sanrio. She is depicted wearing a pink or red hood, sometimes with a flower or bow accesory. She often appears with her rival, Kuromi and has had numerous appearances outside of illustration, including dolls, tv shows and clothing. My Melody is shy and gentle, in contrast to Kuromi's mischievous nature. According to the official Sanrio site, My Melody was born in the forest of Mariland. Her favorite pasttimes include backing cookies and eating cake with her friend, a mouse named Flat.
