I started gardening during the COVID-19 pandemic (~2019-2021), and I've been fascinated ever since. The hobby has gifted me
a peace of mind and a sense of calmness I've never experienced before.
Throughout my life, I've always been interested in gardening, but never had the time, energy, or money to get started. I remember my grandparents
having a nice sized vegetable garden down in southern Arkansas when I was a child. I would occasionally assist them in picking the vegetables
whenever my family went to visit. The only food I remember them growing were green beans and collared greens, but my mother
told me they also grew a Plum tree! My grandfather no longer keeps the garden due to my grandmother's passing and old age.
Skipping to the present, I now have a little garden of my own. However, I only grow flowers. My mother has officially
taken up the mantle of growing her own vegetable garden - just like her mother. I dream of one day owning a home with a large backyard, only to
plant a meadow of flowers. If you want to know, my favorite flower is Hibiscus!🌺
