MICHELADA
Traditional Mexican Beer Cocktail
If you're not familiar with it, a
MICHELADA is a savory beer beverage
that may be made in a number of different ways using Mexican lager,
tomato juice, hot sauce, spices, lime juice, and a few other savory
sauces such as Worcestershire sauce or Jugo Maggi. Most commonly dressed
with a salt, chili, or chamoy rim. Completmented by fruits, shrimp,
olives but honestly add anything your heart desires because this
cocktail is so customizable. Although I've previously had sweet fruit
micheladas made with fruit slices, fruit juice, lime juice, and hot
sauce, I much more like the savory variations.
Since micheladas are frequently recommended as a hangover remedy, you
almost feel good about drinking them!
