Roller Skating is a great lower body exercise, working muscles in your calves, quads, and glutes. It's also a great way to build core strength, and depending on your form, you can also work an arm workout into your routine. Roller skating strengthens your muscles, and that includes the heart! When you skate, you are exercising; and, when you exercise, you are releasing โ€œfeel-goodโ€ hormones in your brain called endorphins. They actually make you happy. It's no wonder you leave the roller skating rink full of joy! Roller skating is great fun for the little ones, but also for adults too.
