The Dutch rabbit is one of the
oldest domesticated
rabbit breeds dating back to the 1800s. Despite their name, the Dutch
breed originated in the United Kingdom rather than the Netherlands.
This specific breed was first used for food purposes, but quicky
gained popularity by their unique markings. With that being said,
Dutch rabbits became one of the most wanted breeds and was exported
all over the world!
