St. Vincent and the Grenadines is a 32 multi-island state forming part of the Lesser Antillean arc. The 369 km 2 (142 sq. miles) territory is made up of mainland St. Vincent, the largest island with the most inhabitants; 7 inhabited islands: Bequia, Canouan, Mayreau, Mustique, Union Island, Young Island and Palm Island; with the remainder being uninhabited. The island chain is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean on the Eastern (Windward) side and the Caribbean Sea on the Western (Leeward) side. Being volcanic in nature, the geography of the mainland is quite rocky and steep with little flat land.
My favourite thing about St. Vincent and the Grenadines is the warm climate observed year round 🌞! The island chain is a hidden, untouched gem of the Antilles! There's lots to do from visiting the black and white sand beaches, touring the many nature trails and waterfalls, taking a Catamaran cruise down the Grenadines basking in the warm sunshine to tasting the fresh, exotic fruits, seafood and vegetables. St. Vincent and the Grenadines is really one of a kind!
