My favourite: Modern Farmhouse
My favourite style is definetely the Modern Farmhouse as it's an
updated, contemporary version of the farmhouse interior design style.
The farmhouse style began in the late 1800s and was developed out of
necessity, which is why it has a simplistic feel. The farmers lived on
the land where they worked and used the materials from the
geographical area for the home. Planked wood floors, beams, and open
shelves (or glass front cabinets).The Farmhouse style has a rustic
feel with mismatched furniture and exposed wood. The key to a modern
farmhouse style is to blend the old with the new. Modern farmhouse
includes glossy accents and contemporary design elements.
