What did I find?

I had several interesting findings, please keep in mind that the results are not to be generalised with “just” 10 interviews.
I listed the most important findings for you below:

As you can imagine, Airbnb was seen as a pioneer in building trust with strangers. Sharely is doing quite well too, although they are really small and Peerby still has a long way to go. Basically, the first step to use P2P platforms, specifically accommodation and object-sharing, are referrals and a convenient website. To be recommended, the platforms have to create awareness, something Peerby and Sharely are lacking.
