Stray Kids is a 4th generation k-pop group
formed in 2017 and debuted in 2018.
The members were all chosen by the leader, Bang Chan, before they were
set to participate in a survival show produced by their company.
Through this show they had to complete challenges and prove that they had
what it takes to debut as a k-pop group.
They are largely considered a self-producing group, as they are involved in most parts of the writing and composing of their songs.
