Friendship Bracelets

My hobby for 28 years

Friendship Bracelets are my favorite craft. I started making friendship bracelets during the summer of 1994. I bought a bracelet book at a book fair that came with yarn and instructions. It took me a long time, but over the next few years I mastered the patterns that came in my bracelet book and began looking for other patterns. I started off with just 2-4 strand bracelets. The picture above is an 18 strand bracelet that I made last year. I make my bracelets using double knots, in which I take one strand and wrap it over and under another strand twice. To make a row, I will take my strand and make double knots around all the other strands.
