Hi! My name is Aistė. I am an occasional artist based in Hamilton,
Ontario, who dabbles in many traditional art techniques but has
fallen head over heels in love with black and white ink art.
Even though color is not a frequent visitor in my art, it does not
lack soul and character. It often features high contrast portraits,
lively animals and landscapes drawn in intricate detail using black
micron liners and copic ink markers.
My inspiration comes from all things life and nature. From plants to
forest critters to the beautiful curves of a female body – I see art
in all that surrounds me and I try to transfer it to paper, or
other surfaces.
