Emma Willard?

Emma Willard was born in the 1800s and is considered one of the first female mapmakers in the United States. She was a strong advocate for women's education and dedicated much of her life to creating better access to education for women as well as better textbooks and visual learning aids. Though widely forgotten in history, her work lives on through the maps and infographics she made.
