Welcome to the Scar Isles
First things first
This campaign is module-based, with the first module being designed to handle 5 levels.
Addtionally, it is created using the 5th edition ruleset, but you could easily adjust to
whichever ruleset you feel most comfortable.
Now we get to the good part!
You feel your wings flap in the wind as a draft take you higher; the salt air heavy in your nose.
You gaze out upon the Scar Isles, the islane chain cust off from the rest of the world by a relentless
and heavy fog.
To the furthest north and the furthest west stands Aruun. A peaceful land littered with farms and tradespeople,
always willing to help those in need.
Drifting south, you see Nythos. Temples to the goodly gods litter this land and the light is almost palpable, even
from this distance.
Slightly north and east sits the smallest island, Zed. Here lies only a monastery dedicated to removing
onesself from mortal drama and temptations.
Furthest north brings your gaze to Tefth. Little is known about these barbaric lands. But the rumors of
ritual sacrifice reach every shore.
The second largest island you see is Warden. Every spot of this land not covered by mountainous ranges
is coverd by lush forest instead. It's said that folks inhabiting these lands will do whatever it takes
to protect their shores and keep outsiders away.
The largest island stands like a fortress unto is' own. Elyhus is bordered with high jagged and
treacherous cliffs. Dotting the lands you see many military structures, each more formidable than the last.
Still south of here, to the furthest south of the Scars, you see Skamaks. Little life is found here apart
from humanoids. The developing nation was the first to implement industry and the widespread use of mekkani.
Hiding amongst the Shroud stand Bayer. Should you wish to live outside the law, you will find your home here.
Realizing that you've missed one island, your gaze flickers to and fro until you spot it. Nestled in the
middle of the island chain and shrouded in an ominous fog lies Meroc. No one knows what happened to Meroc, but
they have not been heard from in over 50 years.
As you flap your wings once more, you hear a dreadful chuckle. Your consciousness is ripped into a familiar body
in an unfamiliar room. As you come to, you hear a shrill voice whisper to you,
"Welcome to the Scars."
