"Toilet Plume"...What is this, you may ask? Well, you probably didn't ask,
but I will tell you anyway!
Toilet Plume, is a spray filled with microscopic bacteria, such as E-Coli. Several studies
have been done on the unknown phenomenon. Research dating back to 1975
proves that the germs emitted in the spray, can linger in the air for up to 6 hours!
Also, it disperses all over the bathroom. Landing on towels, faucets, beauty products and yes,
even your toothbrush! 🤢
The toilet plume plays an important role in the transmission of norovirus, SARS and
pandemic influenze, just to name a few.
The easiest way to avoid this nastiness is simple: Close the toilet lid upon every flush!
