Styles released his self-titled debut solo album through Columbia Records in 2017. It debuted at number one in the UK and the US and was one of the world's top-ten best-selling albums of the year, while its lead single, "Sign of the Times", topped the UK Singles Chart. Styles' second album, Fine Line (2019), debuted atop the US Billboard 200 with the biggest ever first-week sales by an English male artist, and was the most recent album to be included in Rolling Stone's "500 Greatest Albums of All Time" in 2020. Its fourth single, "Watermelon Sugar", topped the US Billboard Hot 100. Featuring the chart-topping single "As It Was", Styles' third album, Harry's House (2022), was widely acclaimed and broke several records. His film roles include Dunkirk (2017), Don't Worry Darling, and My Policeman (both 2022). Aside from music and acting, Styles is known for his flamboyant fashion. OK here's my favorite song which I currently listen to when I get upset, or I want something to make me feel relieved from the outside world and give me comfort. There's a thing that I actually figured out, that the name Matilda means a girl who is a warrior or mighty in battle.
The songs from Harry's new album Harry's house, which has been released on May 20, 2022.It is a sweet ballad, in some ways sad, addressed to a mysterious girl named Matilda, who is going through a difficult period. Harry Styles tries to support her with his words. In the lyrics, Matilda appears to be a young woman experiencing difficulties within the family context.
You can throw a party full of everyone you know / And not invite your family, âcause they never showed you love is what Harry says in one of the central verses of the song. From the lyrics it can be understood that we are talking about a young girl, perhaps even a teenager, given the great importance that the lack of love from family assumes in her mood.Harry Stylesâ invitation is to let go of this sadness.

In the lines, Ringinâ the bell / And nobodyâs coming / to help / Your daddy lives by himself / He just wants to know that youâre well, / oh-oh-oh, could refer to how in the wake of Stylesâ self-destructive behavior (he mentions a phone call where the receiving line suggests he is on pills), he reminisces on his fatherâs shortcomings but also love for him.
In an Apple Music interview, Styles remarks that âAs It Wasâ suggests a metamorphosis that occurred during the pandemic, as he was forced to slow down and he wasnât this musician anymoreâhe was also a friend, a brother, and a son. But, also, he elaborates saying, âEverything that happened in the pandemic, itâs just never going to be the same as before. All of the things happening in the world, itâs so obvious that itâs just not going to be the same. You canât go backward, whether thatâs us as a people or me in my personal life or any of those things.â
