Physiology which is the scientific study

Of course the specific study of animals is called Zoology; it includs the structure, embryology, evolution, classification, habits, and distribution of all animals, both living and extinct, and how they interact with their ecosystems...
And then we have the plants! Botany, also called plant science, plant biology or phytology, is the science of plant life and is also a branch of biology.
If we look closer, it only gets more and more exciting... The most abundant form of life, can't even be seen by bare eyes! Bacteria and viruses are called microorganisms and Microbiology is the scientific study of microorganisms, those being unicellular, multicellular, or acellular.
All living organisms are made of cells. A cell is the basic unit of life that is responsible for the living and functioning of organisms. Cell biology is the study of structural and functional units of cells; And then there's Molecular biology that seeks to understand the molecular basis of biological activity in and between cells.
Did you know that Biotechnology is considered a key technology of the 21st century? Biotechnology is the integration of natural sciences and engineering sciences in order to achieve the application of organisms, cells, parts thereof and molecular analogues for products and services. You're definitely going to hear this term more often in the future world.
