What is powerlifting and how did it empower me as a woman?
Powerlifting is a strength sport that consist of three attempts at
maximal lifts of squat, bench press, and deadlift. When you think of
powerlifting, generally you would think it is only for men. However, woman
have been on the rise in powerlifting since the late 1980's. I started
powerlifting in November 2021, and it has empowered me to appreciate my
body & its ability to grow stronger everday. I encouraged those who wants
to start powerlifiting, is to get a coach to help guide you through.
