I am blessed to live in a country with vast swaths of land to explore. these places are all within a 2 hour drive from my home. I started hiking when I moved to calgary, a city that is so close to the mountains. most of these images are from backpacking trips. backpacking is wild land camping, where you pack all you necessities on your back and walk into the wilderness. these are the trips that truly make me feel at peace
