Pizzelle Recipe
- 1 cup flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
- Combine dry ingredients
- Beat eggs and sugar together until combined
- Add in the vanilla to the egg mixture
- Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet, a little at a time
- Combine well, the mixture will be thick
- Add a small, tabelspoon size, of the mixture to your pizzelle press and cook until golder brown
- Repeat untill all the cookies are made
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve!
Notes
Pizzelle dough can be made in advance and stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator. Allow the dough to come to room temperature before cooking. Pizzelles can be frozen in an airtight container for up to 3 months.
