Who is she? 🤔
Valkyrie is a Recon Legend in Apex Legends; a free-to-play battle royale-hero shooter game
developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by
Electronic Arts. She was introduced in Season 9 (Legacy) and is locked from the
basegame. She can be unlocked using digital currency; either 12,000 Legend Tokens or 750 Apex Coins.
An aerial-based Legend, Valkyrie’s passive VTOL Jets allow her to fly for a few seconds, and
she automatically marks enemies while skydiving. Her tactical, Missile Swarm,
launches a group of missiles that damage and stun enemies. Her ultimate, Skyward Dive,
launches Valkyrie and her teammates into the sky to skydive towards the ground.*

I've personally been playing Valkyrie as my main legend for probably about a year, and although I usually
do try the newer legends whenever they get released, I always gravitate back to my Valk. Not only are her
abilities great but her personality is pretty cool too! In-game she is a lesbian titan pilot who has a
romantic
relationship with fellow apex legend
Loba
Andrade.
To me, this
automatically makes her 10x more interesting than some of the other legends in the game.
So, this skin? 🎨
In early december, a Christmas themed update named "Wintertide" was released, with several new winter and
christmas-themed
legends skins and other game cosmetics like gun skins and weapon charms. As soon as I installed the update, I
searched all
over the game for any signs of any valk-specific items. And there she was. In the collection event. A legendary
Valk skin, called 'Frozen Blossom', interestingly designed in my favourite colours (pink and blue).
