My favorite way of discovering new worlds

Language is a structured system of communication. The structure of a language is its grammar and the free components are its vocabulary. Languages are the primary means by which humans communicate, and may be conveyed through a variety of methods, including spoken, sign, and written language. Many languages, including the most widely-spoken ones, have writing systems that enable sounds or signs to be recorded for later reactivation. Learning a new language is opening a door to a whole new way of seeing and understanding the world. Inside the grammar, and -of course- colloquial expressions, many times cultural values or practises are reflected. To me, living aborad it is about getting myself out of my comfort zone, discovering new places, meeting new people and immersing myself in the language being spoken in the place.
