Whether in form of buddhist mantras, gregorian chants, the voice of the
chaman amongst others; music has been present in religious or healing
rituals since acient times. Music and sound helped me heal in a difficult
period of my life, and it is this fascination and the wish to help others
to the same, that awakened my interest in the
healing properties of sounds and music. Through this
journey, I learned conscious rythimic system, a system in which I which I
use drums to acommpany individuals through a sound journey. I practised
some techniques of mongolian throat singing, joined regular singing
classes, and learned the use of singing bowls which I use to guide
meditations and/or provide a sound bath massages.
Lately, science is investigating more about the repercussions of sound in
mental health. For example, about how
"the use of specific sounds affect your brainwaves and promote
healing.
