Myself and my husband, Adam, took our honeymoon in South Africa and were
lucky enough to spend a day in Simon's Town. There we were greated by
many nesting penguins on the beaches, as well as around the town. The
group of African penguins migrate to the town each year to build their
nests and let their babies grow. Penguins could be spotted throughout
the nearby neighborhoods in the streets and nesting in the bushes. There
are even street signs all over instructing motorists to check beneath
their cars before driving off to ensure there were no penguins hiding in
harms way.
It was truly an incredible experience.
