Welcome to Pasta's Paradise
Authentic Italian recipe
This month's special is carbonara pasta, a classic Italian dish of eggs,
bacon, and cheese. It's one of the few dishes that has remained
consistently popular throughout the years. Even in medieval Italy,
people were stuffing breadcrumbs into minced meat to stop them from
drying out - not exactly an appetizing prospect! But what exactly is
carbonara? The answer lies in the etymology of its name. The word
'carbonara' comes from 'carbonara', which means 'charcoal-maker' in
Italian.
