Sweet Pea Cakery (SPC) was born out of Amy's love and passion for baking.
Inspiration struck her early on after seeing the Woody Allen film
Small Time Crooks, and it was then that her cookie business
erupted at the age of 10. Amy would try all sorts of cookie recipes,
making them for friends, neighbors, and selling them to teachers at her
elementary school. Amy's love of baking carried into high school, baking
custom cakes for friends from scratch, and ultimately leading her to a
summer job at Elle's Belles Bakery in Bozeman, Montana before she went off
to college in 2010.
It wasn't until she tried a recipe from Cake by Courtney's
Courtney Rich for her husband's birthday in 2021 that she re-discovered
her love of baking and decorating cakes. Employed full-time at an
investment firm and a mom to 4 (now 5!), she decided to take a leap of
faith and start Sweet Pea Cakery, LLC for something to do in her free
time.
Be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, or just because, Amy would be
happy to provide the cake (and more!) for your special event.
