You might argue, that they taste great
(or so you convince yourself), at a cost of zero calories
for your ever-so-healthy diet.
Well, have I news for you:while you sooth your
conscience by drinking your soda of choice in the variation
light, diet or zero, the officially-not-harmful sugar
replacements (potentially negatively) alter your gut
microbiome. Which in return is vital for your both physical AND mental
health, not least your weight.
By no means am I suggesting you exclude any artificial sweeteners from your diet immediately (I strongly recommend it though). This page's purpose is primarily to raise awareness and encourage further research in that field, as well as demonstrate my rudimentary coding skills.
