The Pembroke Welsh Corgi s a small type of herding dog
that originated in Wales. The name corgi is derived from the Welsh words
cor and ci (which is mutated to gi), meaning "dwarf" and "dog",
respectively.
Characteristics
Behaviour: They are low-set,
intelligent, strong, athletic, and lively little herder who is
affectionate and companionable without being needy.
Size: The common height at the
withers is between 10–12 inches (25–30 cm)
Color: They can be red, sable,
fawn, and black and tan, with or without white markings.
