Venus’ passion lies in inspiring and encouraging people to lead a
healthier, happier life using a holistic approach to health and
wellness. She firmly believes that the key to optimal health is
achieving a state of balance between physical, mental, social and
spiritual health. Her food philosophy revolves around whole foods,
emphasising a balanced diet that is personal, enjoyable and sustainable.
Venus attained her Masters of Dietetics Studies and Bachelor of Health
Sciences from the University of Queensland. She continues to work as a
consultant dietitian in private practice.
Having struggled with disordered eating issues herself, she is
passionate and has experience in helping individuals break free from the
cycle of eating disorders and find ways to practise mindfulness. Her
counselling approach is rooted in self-empowerment and building
confidence in those wanting to take control of their health. As an avid
foodie, Venus enjoys exploring new cafes and trying out different
cuisines to brush up her cooking skills. She also likes spending time
with family, dancing and hiking.
