Glühwein Recipe
Ingredients 📝
10 dl
10dl strong, dry red wine
(for example Merlot, Dornfelder, Spätburgunder)
75g raw sugar
1 organic orange(s), halved,
sliced
1.5 cinnamon stick(s)
3 cloves
3 star anise
4 cardamom pods, seeds
removed
1 pinch of nutmeg
50 ml amaretto or rum
Instructions 📖
Heat wine with all ingredients up until nutmeg in a pot without
bringing it to a boil, stirring occasionally
Remove pot from heat, cover, and let simmer for about 10
minutes
