Marching Band

My favorite activity

Marching band has been my favorite extracurricular activity since I discovered it in high school. I also played in a concert band and a jazz band. For those who are unfamiliar with marching bands, they are a group of instrumental musicians who perform while marching, typically for entertainment or competition. Brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments are commonly used in orchestras. I started in the woodwind section and later moved on to the brass section. From freshman to sophomore, I played clarinet, and from junior to senior, I switched to baritone. It was probably my favorite memory from high school. Most of my friends were in a band; I hung out with them at school and thoroughly enjoyed everything about it.
