The best dessert you could have!

Gelato is a frozen italian dessert made with cream, milk and sugar and sometimes egg yolkes(other ingredients rely on the flavor). Traditional flavors include chocolate, vanilla, nocciola, pistachio, and stracciatella. Until now, most people would believe that they already know gelato. "Isn't that just ice cream?" The answer is no! Altough they're both made out of cream and frozen, they are completely different and the answer lies on the making process:

• Hot process: Ingredients are heated to 185 degrees for pasteurization, then placed in a batch freezer.
• Cold process: All ingredients are mixed and placed into a batch freezer.
• Sprint process: Milk or water is added to a pre-packaged mixture of all the ingredients, and then mixed and batched.

Gelato is smoother, and more richly flavored than ice cream. That's because it uses much more milk than ice cream, which relies on cream for much of the heavy lifting.
